The staff was very nice and helpful it was very clean it had plenty of people they all seem happy and chattering about. The tacos I got were delicious my friend loved his burritos and they have soft drinks. I couldn't see any high chairs for babies or booster chairs but maybe they have them I just couldn't locate them. The restroom was for both genders and they had a handicap bar by toilet but they didn't have a changing table for babies. They had tables for you to eat outside there were lots of people outside enjoying themselves it's a very nice place to take your family and friends to I definitely recommend it it's worth going to oh also there was plenty of parking

Love this place! It’s like a taste of my time in California! The shredded beef burrito and the lengua taco were standouts, and the rice and beans are incredible too. Next time I’m going to try their hamburger; I’ve had some really great ones at Mexican restaurants before, so I’m excited to try one here. Thank you El Indio! Btw, I just read they’re opening a new location in Jonesville—congratulations El Indio! Your success is well deserved.

While seats & tables like a fast food restaurant, the food and service were that of a full service restaurant. I had 2 extra hours on that day so went in 30 min after they opened, ordered my food from unique menu, cashier helped me made the decision and by the time manager came to my table to deliver my items, the restaurant was packed. So much so that the outside patio was full and drive thru had a long line. This is before 12 noon. I'll visit them again.

I have never had such a great meal. So much food for a very reasonable price! She was so nice and as busy as they were, she remembered my name. I will definitely be coming back again 🙂. Sadly, I did not take any pictures. It was that good. We couldn't wait to eat it. They have a drive thru!!!

This has always been our go-to for fast food. It's so much better than any fast food in town. Even though they are a Mexican restaurant, I have to say their cheese burgers and chicken burgers are the best!!!! Also don't forget your chips and queso because I have to say, that's the best queso I have ever had!

Stopped by to pick up dinner after being recommended by a friend. I love Al pastor tacos, so decided on the 2 taco combo. For $11.58 (April 2023) I received 2 tacos, with lime and a small container of Al pastor sauce, along with rice and refried beans. And a drink. While they were not the tastiest al-pastor tacos I've ever had, I will say El indio is now my taco spot in Gainesville. All the flavors meld well and made for a very enjoyable dinner.

I love this place. I could honestly eat here 2 to 3 times a week. Sometimes, you have to wait a little bit for your food, but it's always worth it! Plus, they're making food to order. Staff is always nice and patient if I want to try something new, and I have always got what I ordered.
